Procedural Pacman animation in geometry nodes - Blender project

Creation and animation of the famous character Pacman but...in a procedural way! Made in Blender v. 4.2.3

The downloadable file contains the same object, animation and script used for the video tutorial.

This to avoid bad reviews caused by simple misunderstanding about the using of the content or because the Blender's team sometime changes the core code between versions of Blender breaking some geometry nodes setup badly.

With this workflow you'll be able to manage these parameters:

  • Radius: the size of the character
  • Subdivisions: the number of subdivisions of the Icosphere that creates the character
  • Open: a factor between 0 and 1 to open the mouth. If you set 1 the entire head will be opened
  • Thickness: the thickness of the character. This will make the lips visible
  • External: the external surface material
  • Internal: the internal surface material
  • Lips: the material for the lips
  • Eyes radius: the radius of the eyes
  • Eyes subdivisions: the number of subdivisions of the Icosphere that creates the eyes
  • Eyes: the material for the eyes
